Asbestos Project Management

Redhill Analysts’ Project Management team is available to handle any asbestos works from beginning to end and ultimately provide a full audit trail and chronological log of the activities on site including four-stage clearances, leak testing, asbestos surveys, asbestos compliance based works and contractor auditing.

Redhill Analysts has one of the most experienced asbestos project management teams in the industry. Working alongside clients, our project managers have the experience and technical knowledge to ensure that asbestos management and remediation, whatever its nature, is handled expertly within the broadest commercial and operational requirements of the project.

Having managed the survey and produced the scope and specification, our Project Management Team can handle any or all aspects of the commissioning of asbestos remediation works that may be necessary. Redhill Analysts is able to guide the project through any asbestos issues that may be present from beginning to end, within budget and on time.

Meeting your project objectives

We will:

  • Advise your design/project team on asbestos issues and provide guidance on appropriate processes and procedures to ensure the extent of remedial works encompasses the requirements of the project and include suggestions for any mitigation measures required.
  • Assist in ensuring the contractor selected understands the needs of your project through the preparation of the scope and specification of the work, assessing pricing schedules for remediation work, evaluating tender documents, reviewing contractors’ plans of work and issuing of contracts between parties.
  • Help the smooth running of your project through our contract monitoring service which includes evaluating, supervising, auditing and monitoring of contractors, and can include advising on payment schedules and cost reporting.
  • Our on-site supervisor will monitor the contractors’ progress, compliance with method statement and will conduct air tests and four-stage clearance monitoring as required.

Site Supervision

The level of supervision of asbestos works can vary depending on the size and nature of the project and the Risk Management policy in force. Redhill Analysts can supply the necessary cover required to ensure that all works are conducted safely and in accordance with current legislation.

We have recently completed supervision contracts (under our Supervisory License from the HSE) in high-security properties where the on-going operation of sensitive equipment was of utmost importance to the project, which was valued at millions of pounds.

On-site requirements range from a team of analysts headed up by a site manager on a large project, to a single site supervisor making daily visits to smaller sites. The level of cover required is established at commencement of the project.

Our staff are used to working in a wide array of environments, such as confined spaces, government buildings, prisons, army barracks, shopping centres, office blocks, industrial units, hotels and underground tunnels. We also work varied and flexible shift patterns to accommodate all manner of working hours within buildings.

Our duties on site can be expanded through taking on liaison with staff and public as well as handling queries and organising the programme of works. From Clerk of Works to Planning Supervisors, we can offer a service that covers every facet.
