Redhill Analysts holds a three-year HSE supervisory licence and has full UKAS accreditation for undertaking air monitoring, sampling and four-stage clearance in accordance with ISO 17025. We also have ISO 9001:2000 certification, which is your assurance of quality systems that are managed effectively.
Redhill Analysts offers a full compliance monitoring service with detailed procedures to ensure
that asbestos removal contractors are operating in line with regulatory requirements and their
method statement.
Asbestos testing is conducted in accordance with HSG 248 and our in-house procedures.
Documented evidence, which provides a full audit trail for the works, is maintained throughout the duration of the project and is ultimately presented as a Project Completion Pack (or as part of a Health and Safety Pack).
The pack would typically include:
Four stage clearance certificates and certificate Re-occupation.
- Contractor certificates and documents
- Permit to erect enclosure
- Smoke test report
- Permit to start work on asbestos
- Air monitoring certificates
- Daily enclosure checklists
- Stage clearance certificates
- Consignment notes
Redhill Analysts’ airborne fibre sampling tests include:
- Compliance monitoring
- Background sampling
- Leak (enclosure check) sampling
- Clearance Indicator sampling
- Reassurance sampling
- Assessment of the suitability of respirator protection
Fibre counting is undertaken on site using Phased Contrast Microscopy
